Definition of Deck height

Deck height refers to the vertical distance between the molded lines of two adjacent decks. This measurement is also known as the deck interval. For example, in a paragraph describing the layout of a ship’s bridge, the following sentence could be used: The bridge features three main levels: the steering position, the navigational position, and the communication position. The vertical distance between the decks of these positions is referred to as the ‘deck height’ or ‘deck interval.’
