(Free of Dispatch is a nautical term used to denote that a ship or a vessel is no longer under the dispatch or control of a port authority or a harbor master. For instance, a fishing boat that has completed its haul and is waiting to sell its catch to the market may be reported as Free of Dispatch in maritime communications or logs.)
