when a vessel completes loading at the port earlier than anticipated. In such cases, the number of days saved can be added to the discharge operations. For instance, if a vessel is scheduled to spend 10 days at a port for loading and discharge operations, but the loading is completed in 8 days, then the remaining 2 days can be added to the discharge operations, making the total duration of the port stay 10 days.
