A rubber-tired gantry crane (RTG), also known as a gantry crane on rubber tires, is a type of crane commonly utilized in container yards for acceptance, delivery, and container stacking. These cranes are mounted on rubber tires, enabling them to be easily moved around the yard for various tasks.

For example, During the busy shipping season, the container yard was filled with hundreds of containers waiting to be loaded onto ships. The RTG crane was used to efficiently move and stack the containers in the yard.
