Definition of COD
Cash on Delivery, also known as COD, is a payment method in which the buyer pays the seller in cash upon delivery of the goods. For instance, suppose a sailor needs to purchase a new sail before embarking on a long voyage. The sailor may opt for a COD payment method to ensure that the seller delivers the new sail in good condition before the sailor pays for it.
