Definition of Diagonal line

A diagonal line, refers to a line that intersects the body plan of a ship diagonally. This line can be traced from the frames to the middle line in the loft layout. For instance, when designing a ship’s interior, a diagonal line could be incorporated into the layout to create an interesting and visually stimulating space.
