Non-Discharge Area refers to a specific zone in a waterway where no discharge of waste or pollutants is allowed. For instance, in the context of a marina, a Non-Discharge Area could be designated around the marina’s sewage treatment facility to ensure that no pollutants enter the facility and contaminate the treated water before it is released back into the waterway.
