Definition of Stack
$(#stack).text(A vertical structure on a ship that houses its funnel or smokestack, often forming part of the ship’s silhouette. For instance, in the following paragraph, the smokestacks of the cargo ships are referred to as ‘stacks’.
The harbor was bustling with activity as cargo ships from various parts of the world docked to unload their goods. The stacks of the cargo ships belched out plumes of black smoke into the sky, marking the end of one journey and the beginning of another. )
