Definition of WIBON

Whether In Berth With Other Ships Or Not, In Other Words, Regardless Of Whether A Vessel Is Currently Docked Or Not

For example: During the storm, the captain decided to leave the safety of the harbor. While en route, the crew reported that they had spotted another vessel, the ‘Siren,’ drifting dangerously close to some reefs, ‘Whether In Berth With Other Ships Or Not.’ The captain immediately altered course to investigate and render assistance if necessary.
