The term ‘Bunkers Remaining on Board’ (BROBb) refers to the quantity of fuel oil remaining in the ship’s bunker tanks. For instance, during a fuel consumption report, the chief engineer would state, ‘Currently, we have BROBb of 250 metric tons. With our current consumption rate, we will need to order additional fuel within the next few days.’
