Definition of Reefer

A reefer refers to a refrigerated container or vessel. This type of equipment is specifically designed to maintain certain temperatures for the purpose of transporting refrigerated or frozen cargo.

For example, The cargo ship docked at the harbor, unloading its contents. Among the various items, there were several reefer containers, each marked with the temperature they were to maintain. The cargo inside these containers, such as perishable fruits or frozen meat, were carefully monitored to ensure they arrived at their destination in perfect condition.
