Cargo Remaining on Board, also known as CROB, refers to the quantity of cargo that remains loaded on a ship at a given moment.
For instance, during a voyage from Europe to Asia, the captain may receive an updated CROB report from the ship’s cargo officer. This report would provide the current weight and volume of the cargo remaining on board, allowing the captain to make informed decisions regarding the cargo’s handling, storage, and discharge at the destination port.
