A Medical Treatment Case (MTC) refers to a specific record or documentation that details the medical treatment or care provided to a person aboard a ship or other maritime vessel. For instance, if a crew member falls overboard and requires immediate medical attention, the vessel’s medical officer would document the incident and the medical treatment administered in an MTC.
