Frame spacing refers to the horizontal distances between frames, specifically from the outer edge of one frame to the outer edge of the next frame, measured fore-and-aft. For instance, in a ship’s construction report, it may be stated that the frame spacing between frames 27 and 28 is 22 centimeters.
