Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response, and Cooperation, often referred to as OPRC, is a comprehensive international regulatory framework designed to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and cooperate in the event of oil pollution from ships.

In this situation, the OPRC framework would trigger a response from various parties, including the tanker company, the port authorities, and local environmental organizations.
