Free on Wharf, also known as FOW, is a nautical term used to indicate that a cargo or vessel has been discharged from a ship and is now lying free on a wharf or dock.

For instance, consider the following scenario: A cargo ship named Majestic arrives at the Port of Sydney with a cargo of timber. The cargo is then unloaded from the Majestic and placed on the wharf, which is now free on wharf.
